Stephan Zaehring, was born 1966, in Dortmund Germany. His training began in 1985 with a two year design course at Dortmund’s creative institute "Fachoberschule fuer Gestaltung". Followed by a 3 year degree in photography and an apprentiship with the Kammer studios in Bielefeld. In 1990 he becomes assistant to the reknowed (fashion, interior, still-life) photographer Walter Grave. In 1991 he gains a position as Director of photography at the "Creativ Concret" studio in the city of Aachen. In 1993 he relocates his studio to Barcelona Spain, where ever since he has been collaborating with the countries most prestigious editorials and Ad agencies.
